NestBaby Pregnancy Ticker

From about 4pm on, things just seem to go downhill. I kept trying to leave work and I had to make multiple trips back into the office. I forgot my dirty lunch dishes, then I forgot my cell phone. I finally have everything and I am almost to my car, when a very nice guy ran after me to tell me I had dropped my sweater. So I had to hike back to the building to get it. Then because I left a little later, traffic was crappy. As I am driving home, my neighbor Dana called to tell me that we can no longer work out at the gym next door to us. The agreement that our apartment complex has is a trade with a manager at the 54 one only. That just made me really grumpy. I was looking forward to working out to get out some stress. Instead I walked the dog longer.

Last night perked me up a little. Dana and I let the dogs play for awhile and then walked to TCBY for some frozen yogurt. They had Juicy Orange, which is my favorite. We were sitting outside the store and it was such a nice night. Then I don't know what happened, but both dogs became stupid. It was like all the training they have had was gone. I expect that Captain sometimes, but Zora. She was horrible. On the walk home, she figured out that she was in trouble and started behaving.

I can't wait for Pete to come home. I need a good night sleep. I have trouble sleeping in an empty apartment. I have had this problem since I was little when my brother told me that in the middle of the night someone was going to crawl in my window off the garage roof and kill me in my sleep. Ever since then, I can't sleep in a place by myself. When I was growing up even the alarm system didn't help. Every little sound I hear is someone breaking in.

I have a lot of work to do before Pete gets home though. When he goes away, I slip into slob mode. I don't do it often and when I do it annoys me, but it still happens. The bedroom looks like the closet threw up. The kitchen is strewn with dishes, mostly clean but a couple dirty. The rest of the apartment is clean though. I will need to vacuum though. The moose (Captain) has been there and he sheds like mad.

Speaking of shedding, is it normal for a dog to shed so much. He is a full blooded lab and everyday when he is brushed a small dog comes off of him and even after that is just flies off him. Zora doesn't shed much. About once a year, a major shed happens and if you petting her and she gets up, there is a outline of where she was in dog hair, but that's it. Captain sheds all the time. All seasons. He isn't balding, but it still doesn't seem normal.

I have to head back into the filing cabinets. I am not looking forward to this. It has come down to the most tedious part of the entire project and I have put it off as much as I can.
