Weekend Update

We dog sat for the Moose this weekend. If he were another dog like Zora I don't think I would mind as much, but watching him is so mentally draining. He is constantly going. He never stops. He really gets to me after awhile. Though no matter how annoyed I am at him, I still can't bring myself to stick him in his crate. I feel guilty leaving him alone when we are just sitting upstairs, especially when we find him like this. Though it is few and far between.

From Weekend

Other than the moose, this weekend was great. We finished our Christmas shopping. I have wrapped about a 1/3 of it. I am actually going to be able to mail it and not pay a fortune for it. All the laundry is done and the apartment is clean.

Pete got bored on Sunday cuz I wouldn't let him do any of the cleaning so he decided to be crafty.

From Weekend

All with 6 peices of paper, scissors, tape and a stapler. I was impressed. The dogs were interested.

Exciting happenings. Thursday when we got home we had another new neighbor. ]

This one was caught in the trap that was just sitting on the roof. No point to the trap, but whatever. Pete calls the office and the person just said Ok and hung up. Friday passes squirrel still there. Saturday morning passes squirrel still there. Time the office was open passes and we got annoyed. At this point if it wasn't done it wasn't going to happen til Monday. The poor squirrel was going insane. So with only 15 minutes to get ready and leave for church, we decide to free the squirrel. We pop out the study screen again. Breaking it this time, but whatever we wont be here much longer hopefully. I use the broom to try and get the trap open. This is freaking the squirrel out even more. At one point I pushed the trap off the roof and it was dangling by a wire. Pete and I are laughing the entire time and Zora is freaking out. The neighbors whose roof it is on come out on their deck to see what was happening. Pete had to reassure them that even though we were setting it free it wasn't going to get back into their wall. I finally realized that I needed another broom. After careful maneuvering and the thought that the squirrel was going to jump at me if I set it free. The squirrel was free. I got it open enough for him to squeeze out and make the jump 3 floors to the ground. He was a little stunned, but fine. Off he ran into the woods. Zora almost jumped out the window after him. She couldn't take the excitement. Screw Sunstone for making that poor squirrel wait.

Work today has been trying. The computer network is being crazy. We cant access the internal drives or whatever they are called. My computer has crashed more times than I really want it to.

Though I have to keep trying. That is what they pay me for.
