- I was born in Springfield, MA
- I was adopted at 6 weeks old.
- I have bright red hair.
- And I do not like it.
- When I was little, I tried to sell it to my hair dresser.
- I have 3 siblings, an older brother, and an older stepbrother and stepsister.
- I am not close to any of them.
- I have 3 nephews and 1 neice.
- I was an aunt for the 1rst time at the age of 16.
- I don't get to see the kids enough.
- My parents were divorced when I was 3.
- My mom remarried when I was 6.
- I spent entire months in FL growing up with my Dad.
- He owned a resort in the FL keys.
- I have swum with manatees in the FL Keys before.
- I have been to Disney World 4 times.
- One visit, I slept in a closet with my cousins.
- I lived in the same house and room in West Springfield, MA from the day I was adopted to the day I graduated college.
- In high school, I played soccer, softball and raced downhill skiing.
- Because our school was so small, I raced against boys.
- One year I ended up 15th in the Western Mass.
- I graduated high school in a class of 28.
- Only 8 of those 28 were guys.
- With that, I really didn't start dating til college.
- I went to an all women's college.
- It was in downtown Troy.
- We had low income housing behind our dorms, so you had to be carefully not to shower with the windows open. They would look in.
- I was a Purple Cow in college and I am proud of it.
- I met my husband in college.
- He fixed my computer.
- The first 2 years we were dating, we spent 11 months of it apart.
- I had a contraband hamster in my college dorms.
- She was a birthday present from Pete.
- Her name was Fluffanutter.
- She traveled from NY, to MA, NC and SC.
- We smuggled her into Myrtle Beach one year.
- When we put her to sleep, she had $140 in vet bills.
- I didn't leave the US until July '06.
- and it was only to Canada, for an IBM sponsored honeymoon.
- When I graduated, it was either live with my parents or move to NC to be with my boyfriend.
- I chose NC.
- and I am never going to willingly leave.
- I got my dog as a Christmas present from Pete.
- She is the best gift ever.
- Her name is Zora Bing.
- One of our friends named her Zora in the shelter and we thought it fit her.
- Bing is what Pete wanted to name his younger brother when he was born.
- I got engaged in Aug '04
- Under the stars in Myrtle Beach with Pete and his parents and brother.
- I can't sleep in an empty house.
- I am afraid someone is going to sneak in and kill me.
- I also can't sleep without my feet covered.
- I am afraid someone is going to cut off my toes.
- I worked for UNC Chapel Hill for 3 years.
- I learned more about life in those 3 years.
- I also learned how sheltered I grew up.
- I love animals
- I want more, but we don't have the time for them yet.
- and Zora would eat most animals that I want.
- Pete and I got married in June '06.
- It was almost a perfect day.
- I don't remember much of it though.
- It flew by.
- We took dance lessons from Orshi as a surprise for everyone there.
- We were too drunk to dance well, but other people enjoyed it.
- I rode a mechanical bull at my bachelorette party.
- I also took my bra off in the middle of a bowling alley.
- We bought our 1rst house Jan '07.
- We only looked at 6 houses and only looked 1 day before bidding on a house.
- Our first offer was accepted within hours.
- I love our house.
- Zora tried killing our neighbors cats withing hours of closing.
- I don't recommend that as a ice breaker for new neighbors.
- We have 2 entirely empty bedrooms.
- I could live alone in our closet.
- I am addicted to chocolate.
- I have large stashes of it hidden in the house.
- I try to forget about them.
- I drive a '91 Buick Century.
- It only has 40k miles on it.
- I got it in '03 and it only had 22k miles on it.
- It was a graduation gift from my stepfather.
- He rocks.
- When I got it, the back seat had never been sat in.
- The carpet was brand new.
- Zora has fixed that problem.
- The brake line rotted out from old age.
- That made stopping at red lights interesting.
- Putting 14 bags of mulch in it makes the rear bumper touch the ground.
- It stalls when it is hot out.
- I find it part of his charm.
- Yes, it is a he.
- His name is Alfred.
- His nickname is Big Blue.
- I love him, but want a new car.
- A Honda CRV to be exact.
- I think I have awhile to wait.
- I don't want to work anymore
- Which is good, cuz its 5.
- Pete is waiting for me downstairs.

For my 100th post, I though this would be appropriate. It is alot harder to come up with 100 things then I thought it would be.

Yeah, Honda CRV...Go Baby. If a SUV and a car had sex it would have a CRV which actually stands for Comfortable Recreational Vehicle.
I also think that since I am your phone girlfriend I should have gotten a honorable mention.
