Dryer Vent

So, we tried to be on top of things and have our dryer vent cleaned.  The guy from Sears comes out to clean it and gets his tool stuck in the pipe.  Three hours later, his supervisor comes out to the house and get the tool out of our wall.  Verdict is that the pipe is split somewhere in the wall and blowing lint into the space in the wall.

We had two options to fix this problem. We could rip up the ceiling in the dining room and kitchen
to fix the pipe and keep it going out the side wall or we could just run a new pipe up the side of the
closet and into the unfinished part of the attic and out the roof. Obviously we went for the new pipe
route. A lot cheaper and cleaner.

While all this was going on, we couldn't do laundry for 2 weeks. I washed some work pants and put
them on the rack to dry, but it was too time consuming to do all the laundry that way.

Last Thursday, the new pipe was installed and my loving husband did all the laundry while I was at
work. I came home to the what is below. All that is missing is a load with the sheets from our bed
and some random clothes.

I have never been so happy to have clean clothes.
